Report cards have been sent home for Semester 1 2026 – how has your child settled in for the year?

Some parents and caregivers have growing concerns about their child. For others, the report card raised school issues that they want to look at further.

The School Check-Up Assessment may be for you.  We have designed a straightforward assessment to let you know how your child is going compared to other Australian children of the same age. Our objective one-on-one assessment provides information about your child’s intellectual functioning, academic skills, and attention. The background questionnaire lets you rate your child’s functioning across a range of different behaviours, emotions and academic functions. You can also ask your child and your child’s teacher to complete a version of the questionnaire if you are interested (children can complete the questionnaire from age 8 years). 

At the end of the process, you get feedback about how your child has performed, with strategies for how to support them. Our clinicians provide a feedback session and a detailed report. 

Conditions: This assessment is conducted using a team approach with our Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist and one of our provisional psychologists, It is not available to NDIS funded clients, as these assessments are charged at an hourly rate.
